It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Whetstone (Aaron, Kentucky), born in Jacksonville, Florida, who passed away on May 4, 2018, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his sister Daisy Whetstone Douglas; his parents, Maybell Kenerly Whetstone and Charlie Whetstone; and his sister Annie Wilhelmina Whetstone Baldwin. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Jean Thomas Whetstone; his siblings, Charlie Whetstone, Jr. and Mary Magdalene Whetstone Key (Will); his children, Regenia Whetstone Robinson (Eddie), Ricky Walter Whetstone (Maxine), Christopher Walter Whetstone (Cal), Yelonda Maria Whetstone Harvey (Darren) and Amon DeShannon Whetstone (Lisa); his grandchildren, Eddie Jr., Edgenia Robinson, Rickey Anderson, Kayarnta Watson, Dwashaun Watson, DeShedra Richardson, Rienda Wilkerson, Cheryna Lewis, Christopher Rashad Whetstone, Darren Jr., Collin Harvey and Shalesia Whetstone; and his friends, Maura Wolfson-Foster and Felicia Jones. He is also survived by six sister- in-laws and brother-in-laws, a host of grand and great-grand children, nieces and nephews, and friends.
