He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Thieme and Ida Thieme (Hrencher). He is survived by: his wife Kerry Thieme (Ewy); his children, Joseph (Luz), Mark Thieme (Nicole), Tony Conn, Melissa Mobley, Kassy Koirth (Curtis), Kady Conn and Kelby Conn; and his siblings, Robert (Carolyn), Dale (Susan), Dennis Thieme, Marlene Von Mereveldt (Paul) and Joan Brown (Phil). He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Catholic Church Cemetery Fund or the Dominican Sisters of Peace, Great Bend, KS.
