Virgie McCormick Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 6, 2024, at the age of 95, Virgie McCormick of Yates Center, Kansas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Virgie McCormick to pay them a last tribute.
Though Virgie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Virgie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Merle Emett and Edith Marie Dixon (Mason); her husband Eugene; her daughter Theda Edwards; and her brothers, Gordon and Jack Dixon.
She is survived by: her children, Ron McCormick (Debbie) and Nancy Newton (Clay) of Belle Plaine, KS; and her brother Gary Dixon (Nancy) of Wichita, KS. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
