He was predeceased by: his parents, V. M. "Bud" Raney and Phyllis Raney; his brother Vance; and his son Stacey Raney. He is survived by: his sisters, Diana, Marilyn and Marsha; his former wife Connie Walters; his wife Stonna; and his children, Shawna Raney, Tera Prather (Terry), Shelley Davis (Charley) and Shane Smith (Sheri). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
