He was predeceased by: his parents, Cline Karmann and Delores Karmann (Curran); his in-laws, Jearold and Emma Lou Matile; his aunt Terry Karmann; his cousin Shane Karmann; and his nephews, Josh and Jacob Smith.
He is survived by: his child Kelly (Vinny Baker) of Yates Center; his wife Carol Karmann; his children, Emily Karmann (Kevin Burkholder) of Humboldt, KS and Brian Karmann of Yates Center; his siblings, Danny (Donneta Karmann) of Yates Center, Denise (Robert Smith Jr.) of Yates Center and Lori (Dennis Fink) of Fruita, CO.; and his brother-in-law Randy Matile (Jamie) of Yates Center. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, friends.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Town Hall (201 S Main St, Yates Center, KS 66783). A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Yates Center Cemetery.
Family requested memorial donations be made to Friends for Life and Woodson County Rural Fire Department.
