It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jim Frye of Yates Center, Kansas, born in Marion, Indiana, who passed away on October 4, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Frye and Irene Frye (Baggett); his granddaughter Briana; and his sister Pat Hazelbaker. He is survived by: his wife Durenda Jensen; and his children, Clarence Frye (Marla), Danny Frye (Darla), Rodney Frye (Reta), Bill Frye (Mary), James Frye (Cristie), Shelly Wagner (Bryson) and Stephanie Morrison (Mike). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 21 great- grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
