It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Barney of Yates Center, Kansas, who passed away on May 28, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Gustave Toedman and Augusta Wilhemina Toedman (Wiede); her brother Loren Toedman (Gerald Barney); and her grandchildren, Michael Barney and Mandy Splechter.
She is survived by: her husband Gerald Ray Barney; and her stepchildren, Meredith Barney of Yates Center, Carollyn Barnett, Brenda Morris, Jerry Barney of Humboldt, KS., Douglas Barney of Ft. Meyer, Donald Barney, Steven Barney of Yates Center, Gene Barney of Tampa, Gary Barney of Decatur and Craig Barney of Pikeville, TN.. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 60 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
