He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Scheibmeir and Edith M. Scheibmeir (Trout); his former wife Theresa L. Sicka of Martin's Catholic Church; his son Scott Scheibmeir; his sons-in-law, Merold Devenport and Fredrick Tiblow; and his siblings, Edward, Gene, Lloyd, Jerry, Pauline Diebolt and Bernice Heiman.
He is survived by: his wife Janice; his children, Sandy Devenport, Cindy Tiblow, Doug Scheibmeir (Janet), Lori Blake (Mike), Brad Scheibmeir (Debbie) and Brenda Patton (Keith); his stepdaughters, Christine Sevart (Doug), Cheryl Fulsom (Doyle), Cathy West (Tim) and Cindy Spoon (Bill); and his sisters, Marita West and Emma Mae Frazier. He is also survived by twenty eight grandchildren; thirty one great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Martin's Cemetery Fund. Memorial contributions will be used for cemetery maintenance and for St. Martin's Veterans' Memorial Wall that is located in St. Martin's Cemetery.
