We are sad to announce that on June 11, 2019, at the age of 68, David Franklin Hobbs (Yates Center, Kansas), born in Eureka, Kansas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David Franklin Hobbs to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Hobbs and Adeline Hobbs (Watts); his brother-in-law Gene Peavy; his nephew Scotty Gibson; and his great-nephew Cason Montgomery.

He is survived by: his former wives, Sharon Norris and Linda Bird; his children, David Hobbs, Jr. of Oklahoma and Bobbie Jo Stoldt of Holiday, Florida; and his sisters, Vicky Gibson of Toronto, Carlyn (Cecil McCoy) of Neal, Jane Peavy of Toronto and Bonnie Jean (Kevin Smith) of Bella Vista. He is also survived by five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to the Friends for Life Cancer Fund.
