Bernita Dawson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernita Dawson in Yates Center, Kansas, who passed away on July 30, 2020 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bernita Dawson to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Stine and Mildred Stine (Nutter); her son Douglas Thompson; and her siblings, Kenneth E. Stine and Margie Shanks.

She is survived by: her husband Jack Dawson; her daughter Sharon Roush (George); her brothers, Norman Stine (Audra) and Bernard Stine (Mary Ann); her grandsons, Tyler Roush, Brandon Roush (Raetchel) and Kenneth Thompson (Keisha); and her great grandchildren, Mallory Roush, Kirsten Roush, Quintin Thompson, Klowie Thompson, Luca Thompson and Theodora Thompson. She is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in honor of Bernita are suggested to the Bernita Dawson Memorial Fund and may be left with the funeral home.
