It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilbur Floyd Cornitius (Wright, Kansas), born in Gonzales, Texas, who passed away on April 3, 2018, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Rupert and Margaret Elliott; his wife Arthurene; his children, Arthur Wayne and Pamela Dawn Putman; and his granddaughter Jill Catherine.
He is survived by: his son Timothy Gavin (Brenda) of Spearville; his grandchildren, Matthew (Victoria) of Wright, Rebecca (Jason Johnson) of Wright, Benjamin Cornitius of Lewisville and Sarah Dawn Putman of Runge; and his great grandchildren, Margaret Rose Cornitius, Zoe and Owen Johnson.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Hospice of the Prairie or Spearville Federated Church both in care of the funeral home.
