She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Werth and Theresia Werth; her husband Leonard J. Flax; and her daughter Phyllis Randle. She is survived by: her daughters, Pamela Flax of Hereford, Amy Schneweis (Erik) of Dodge City, Deborah Nystrom (Brice) of Dodge City, Maxine Hertel (Joe) of Dodge City, Bernadine Solomon of Dodge City, Beverly Wendel (Sean) of Ingalls, Diane Burkhart (John) of Hutchison and Malissa Murphy-Rank (David) of Augusta; and her brothers, Marcellus Werth and Marvin Werth of Wichita. She is also survived by 30 grandchildren; 47 great grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to Ford County Fire/EMS Department or St. Jude Children's Hospital both in care of Ziegler Funeral Chapel, 1901 N. 14th Ave, Dodge City.
