He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Summers and Ecil Summers (Finch); his brother Bobbie Summers; and his son-in-law Douglas Feldt. He is survived by: his wife Connie L. Mong; his grandchildren, Wyatt, Wendell and Angel; his daughters, Verda Kay Flinn of Ellis, Kansas and Gerri Lou Tauber of Ogallah, Kansas.; his grandchildren, Todd Flinn (Danielle) of Oakley, Kansas, Ticha Altman (Ryan) of Oakley, Kansas, Murrae Rebarchek of Oakley, Kansas, Dakota Rebarchek (Taylor) of Quinter, Kansas and Cole Feldt of WaKeeney, Kansas.; his great grandchildren, Kenzie, Kaylen, Easton Flinn, Shayna, Jessyna, Alyna Altman, Ayre Stephen and Brinley Rebarchek; and his siblings, Dixie Taylor (Jack) of Heber Springs, Arkansas, Lonnie Summers (Lee) of Whitewater, Kansas and Bill Summers (Bev) of Topeka.
Due to family members in quarantine because of COVID-19 contact tracing, a celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
