He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ramirez and Nellie Ramirez (Trillo); and his brother John Jr. Ramirez. He is survived by: his siblings, Cecilia Young (Ron), Theresa Mata and Gilbert Ramirez (Nichole) of Arkansas City; and his nieces and nephews, Ted Mata of Visalia, CA, Dr. Sara Mata of Norman, OK, Eric Mata of Arkansas City, Maria Shire (Brian) of Arkansas City and Jason Ramirez (Maggie) of Omaha, NE..

A memorial has been established to assist with funeral expenses. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
