Velma Vasey Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 14, 2024, at the age of 96, Velma Vasey of Winfield, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roscoe Eldon and Pauline Bray (Sloan); her husband Charles H. Vasey; her siblings, Rachel Daniels and Keith Bray; and her son-in-law Rene Prestwood.
She is survived by: her daughters, Valarie Jane Prestwood, Vivian Jo Dratch (Stephen), Vonda June Wilson (Terry Pope), Velda Jean Volz (David), Venita Jill Petti (Andy Taylor) and Verlene Janette Stam (John). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews as well as multiple friends.
