It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven Mark Mitchell of Winfield, Kansas, born in Covington, Kentucky, who passed away on December 15, 2021, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Mitchell and Martha Mitchell (Ross). He is survived by: his wife Lisa Mitchell of Winfield; his daughter Whitney Mitchell of Whitter, CA; his stepsons, Johnathon and Christopher Lockyear of Winfield; his grandchildren, Dakota, Autumn, Brooklynne, Marc and Kirsten Lockyear of Winfield; his sisters, Kim Matthews of Newman Lake, WA, Shawn Janis of Umatilla, FL and Tammy McMullen of Lady Lake, FL; his stepmother Patricia Dolan of Los Angeles, CA; and his stepsisters, Debbie Williams of Los Angeles, CA and Tracie Chanchola Mehta of Los Angeles, CA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Memorial contributions for Steven may be made to the Cowley County Humane Society, donations may be left in the care of the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Winfield.
