It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Stanley K. Nichols of Winfield, Kansas, who passed away on September 4, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Nichols and Phyllis E. Nichols (Shannon); his sister Nianne Mohlstrom; and his grandson Gavin Nichols. He is survived by: his wife Mary L. Dillon of Winfield; his children, Tina Sturm of Wellington, Derek Nichols (Jessica) of Conway, AR and Andrea Gardner (Robby) of Garden Plain; his grandchildren, Lydia, Jackson Bumgarner, Leah, Libby Sturm, Haley, Kensey Nichols, Lane and Brinley Gardner; and his sister Sue Simmons-Bossi (Tom) of Winfield. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family requests all attendees wear a mask and practice social distancing for the service and gathering to follow.
A memorial has been established in Stan's name for First United Methodist Church, Kansas State University Alumni Association, and for Kansas State University Farmhouse Fraternity. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
