He was predeceased by: his parents, George W., Sr. and Marjorie Stella Roe (Gottschalg); and his brothers, Clyde Roe, George Roe, Jr. and Don Roe.

He is survived by: his former wife Kathie Jane Hicks; his wife Marlys Gemmer of Winfield; his children, Robert Jason Roe of Park City and Lisa Sartin (Kevin) of Arkansas City; his grandchildren, Alexis, Chevelle and Chevy; his great grandchild Evelynn; his siblings-in-law, Sue Roe, Vaughn Gemmer of Sutton, NE and Vaden Gemmer (Anne); and his nephews, Jim Roe, Grenola and Dennis Butler.
