He was predeceased by: his parents, George Shepherd and Carolyn Shepherd (Moorman); and his siblings, Charles and Eilene. He is survived by: his wife Dorthy; his sons, Tim (Amber) of Wichita and Mike (Angie) of Saco, Maine; and his grandchildren, Maddie, Nate, Tommy, Jack and Claire.
A graveside service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Kansas Veterans' Cemetery (1208 N College St, Winfield, KS 67156).
