He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Mackey and Maxine Mackey (Shiflet). He is survived by: his wife Wanda Bair; his children, Chris Mackey (Gaye) of Atlanta, Nancy Ybarra (Tony) of Dallas, Brent Mackey (Carol) of Winfield and Steve Mackey (Stephanie) of Burden; his grandchildren, Blake Mackey (Heidi) of Sidney, Emily Mackey of Wichita, Jennifer Ybarra of Dallas, Megan Ybarra Todd (Liam) of Nashville, Joe Mackey of Wichita, John Mackey of Denver, Brendan and Rachel Mackey of Burden; his sister Janine Robinson of Conroe; and his sisters-in-law, Sarah Bair, Vivian Shaver (Gerald) and Eleanor Bair. He is also survived by 2 great grandchildren.
A memorial has been established in Richard's name for Burden First Baptist Church. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
