She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert C. Cardwell and Minerva Lucinda Cardwell (Graham); her husband Ralph Dean Fry; and her siblings, Robert Cardwell and Sharon Frazer.

She is survived by: her children, Catherine Shiever (Dennis) of Winfield, Frank Fry (Debbie) of Winfield, Dorothy Potter (Patrick) of Winfield and Linda Hanshaw of Winfield; her siblings, Margaret Johnson of Winfield and Bruce Cardwell of Sonoita, AZ; and her grandchildren, Debra Koss, Evert Shiever (Nara), Ruthanne Scudder, Christopher Potter (Jocelyn) and Sarah Houser (Jeremy). She is also survived by her eight great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
