He was predeceased by: his sister Sara Jane Brinkmeyer. He is survived by: his sister Patti Brinkmeyer; his nephew Jace Butcher; his grandchild Trey Blanchard; his aunts, MaryEtta Moore and Leona Brinkmeyer; his cousins, Phil Brinkmeyer and Denise Filkins; and also Joe.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Cowley County Human Society in honor of Michael's dog "Winnie the Woo" and to the Shelley Family Funeral Home to defray funeral expenses.
