Marjorie Lee Ruggles Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marjorie Lee Ruggles (Winfield, Kansas), born in Atlanta, Kansas, who passed away on September 5, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Evan and Helen Louise Martin (Pierce); her husband James Maurice Ruggles; and her siblings, Martha Remy (Tom) and Max Martin.
She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Santiago (Ruben) of Little Rock, AR and Randal Ruggles (Heidi) of Katy, TX; her sister Judy Patterson (Wayman) of Broken Arrow, OK; her sister-in-law Leora Bland of Winfield; her grandchildren, Christopher "CJ" Santiago (Emily), Daniel Ruggles (Leah) and Emily Ruggles; and her great grandchild Brayson Santiago. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will follow at Rose Valley Cemetery at 11:00 A.M. A memorial has been established in Marjorie's name for the Donald W. Reynolds Institute on Aging at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Dementia and Long-Term Care in the College of Medicine's Department of Geriatrics. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
