She was predeceased by: her parents, Ezra Grover and Lula Freeman Burgoyne; her husband John R. "Bob" Hughes, Jr.; her brothers, Max Burgoyne (Phyllis) and Grover Burgoyne (Thelma); her siblings-in-law, Fred Hughes, Patti Hughes Houser and Janet Austin; and her great grandchild Maddie Hughes.
She is survived by: her son John of Papillion, NE; her grandsons, Kevin (Anne) of Omaha, NE and Greg (Virginia) of Plattsmouth, NE; her nieces and nephews, Brenda Edgington, Becky Burgoyne of Wichita, Barbara Hankins, Max Burgoyne, Jr. (Rita) of Lexington, SC and Larry Burgoyne of Glendale, AZ; and her close friend Elaine Graham.
