He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Seymour LeVergne and Janie Belle Snell (Bowlby); his wife Betty Sledge of Winfield; his children, Vicki Evans (Bryce) of Winfield and Steven Snell (Debi) of Winfield; his brother Marvin Snell (Janey) of Parkerfield; his grandchildren, Travis Evans (Kelly), Shane Snell, Audrey, Christy Reams (Calvin), Lindsey Rice (Josh) and Stephanye Edwards (Glen); and his great grandchildren, Maggie Snell, Jackson Evans, Addison Reams, Walker Evans, Marion Edwards, Brody Reams and Cason Reams.
A memorial has been established in Vern's name for the Winfield Food Pantry. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
