It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leon William Moore of Winfield, Kansas, who passed away on January 22, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Moore and Ruth Ruggles Moore; his wife Patricia Swanholt; his daughter Marcia Osborn; his son-in-law Lynn Adkins; and his siblings, Ernest Moore and Sharon Moore.
He is survived by: his children, Beverly Black (Darrell), Carol Adkins, Eleanor Peacock (Richard), Kenny Moore (Julie), Rodney Moore (Reba) and Marty Moore (Kim); his grandchildren, Jason Sweet, Sherri Terrell, Nathan Adkins, Alaine Adkins, Steven Adkins, Tyler Osborn, Tyson Osborn, Andrea Jones, Laura Leffel, Matthew Moore, Sissie Moore, Jessica Campbell, Darcie Randall, Desiree Hamm and Mallory White; and his brothers, Wesley Moore and Lonnie Moore.
Memorials have been established in Leon's name for the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation and for Harry Hynes Hospice. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
