He is survived by: his wife Linda Moon of Winfield; his daughters, Elizabeth O'Bryan (Rob) of Burden, Virginia Smith (Gordon Kaiser) of Winfield, Kim Fleetwood (Wayne) of Arkansas City and Misty Weaver of Beloit; and his sister Karol Kenzy (Joe Knab) of Winfield.
A memorial has been established in Layne's name for the Iona Community Center in South Dakota. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
