He was predeceased by: his parents, George Shively and Naomi Shively (Jowers); and his siblings, Stevie Shively and Naoma Reed (Sawyer). He is survived by: his nephews, Chris Sawyer of Winfield and Dr. Stan "Bo" Sawyer (Gail) of Winfield; his niece Buffy Sawyer of Yakima, WA; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jacob Sawyer (Odessa), Colton Sawyer, Samuel Sawyer (Halston), Chanea Kistler (Skylor), Patrick Sawyer (Haley) and Kyle Sawyer; and also, Xavier, Canaan, Ember and Addison.
