He is survived by: his wife Peggy Jo; his sons, Joel Foltz and Max Foltz (Emily); his grandchildren, Emmett Foltz, Evelyn Foltz, Ellerie Foltz and Edyn Foltz; and his sister Val Mikenas.

A graveside service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Kansas Veterans' Cemetery (1208 N College St, Winfield, KS 67156).
