He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thomas D. Ozbun and Sylvia C. Ozbun (Sonntag) of Winfield; his former wife Sherri Hopper; his son Darrell Ozbun (Melanie) of Kansas City, MO; his brothers, Paul Ozbun (Jean) of Hastings, NE and Mark Ozbun (Sue) of Portland, OR; his grandson Sam Brewer of Olathe; and his brother Jace Brewer (Natasha) of Kansas City, MO.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Grace United Methodist Church (320 College St, Winfield, KS 67156).
A memorial has been established in John's name for the Winfield Food Pantry. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
