He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley "J. W." and Mable "Brunk" Remer; and his wife Naomi I. Helphingstine. He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Burnett (Laynne) of Peabody, Crystal and Derstine of Park City, Kansas.. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
