She was predeceased by: her parents, George W. Wunderlich and Dorothea Wunderlich (Byron); her brother Roy "Corky"; and her half-sister Shirley. She is survived by: her daughter Robin Unrein (Mike) of Independence, MO; her grandchildren, Candy Toon (Joe), Michael Kite, Jason and Samantha Unrein; and her great grandchildren, Paidon Kite, Lane Toon, Zachary Kite, Garrett Toon, Nathan Kite, Shay Toon, Mikey Kite, Josey Toon, Trace Toon, Izzy Toon and Delcy Toon.
A memorial has been established in Genie's name for Freedom Hooves Therapeutic Riding. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
