The passing of Eugene Earl Spoon of Winfield, Kansas leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 23, 2024 at the age of 77. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Barger and Ruth Barger (Asbury); his wife Janet Spoon; and his siblings, Sara Barger and Dale Spoon.

He is survived by: his daughters, Gina Heller (Dave) of Rancho Cucamonga, CA and Christy Rozo (Paul) of Newport Beach, CA; his siblings, Riley Duane Barger of Tucson, AZ and Cathy Smith of Broken Arrow, OK; his grandchildren, Amber Brayton, Jarad Farber, Gabrielle Hazel, Jackson Heller, Bianca Gaxiola and Andrew Rozo; his great grandchildren, Lucas, Rylan, Macie, Bella and Roxey Brayton; and his grandchildren, Charlie, Lucy Farber, Gavin, Gianna and Genevieve Gaxiola.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Miles Funeral Service (4001 E 9th Ave, Winfield, KS 67156).

A memorial has been established in Gene's name for the Cowley County Humane Society. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
