She was predeceased by: her parents, Deloss Hiatt and Alta Hiatt (Purdy); her spouse Corwin L. "Van" Van Meter; and her daughter Barbara Carver. She is survived by: her children, Mike Van Meter (Jeanene) and Peggy Satterlee (Gary). She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established in June's name for Prairie View United Methodist Church. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
