We are sad to announce that on February 22, 2024, at the age of 95, Edna E. Greenleaf-Neilson of Winfield, Kansas, born in Lowry City, Missouri passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Edna E. Greenleaf-Neilson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Lathrum and Elizabeth Margaret Lathrum (Woods); her former husband John F. Greenleaf; her husband Earl L. Neilson; her grandchildren, Amanda Hostetter Carver, David Kafka-Bowman and Joseph Pisano; and her siblings, James Shaw, Samuel Shaw and Skeet Goodwin.
She is survived by: her children, John A. Greenleaf (Muriel Bernard) of Winfield, Lawrence C. Greenleaf of Hollidaysburg, PA, Cheryl B. Crow (Jerry) of Winfield, Lisa A. Dewberry of Wichita, Susan E. McBride (Jon) of Wichita and Michael J. Greenleaf (Marissa) of Ankeny, IA; her brother Robert Shaw (Sarah) of Sedalia, MO; and her grandchildren, Christopher, Catherine, Dane, Eliza, Alexander, Jessica, Jennifer, Michelle, Ashley, Matthew, Keshia and Gabe. She is also survived by her 18 great grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established in Edna's name for Lowell Elementary School. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
