She was predeceased by: her parents, William David and Pearl Edna Drake (Wilson); her husband William Henry "Bill" Bernard; and her siblings, Genevra Drake Hays, Noble, Vernon and Lloyd Drake.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cheryl Schasteen (Melvin), Karen Adams (Herb) and Muriel Bernard; and her grandchildren, Ryan Schasteen, Kyle Schasteen (Samantha), Doug Schasteen (Shana), Jacinda Chisholm (Steven), Samuel Adams, David Adams (Ashley), Josh Adams, Jaime Nelson, Nicole Jacobs (Kenny), Molly Nelson and Lauren Crider-White (Cory).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to P.E.O. Star Scholarship, a project of PEO that provides educational scholarships to women. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
