It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delores F. Johnson of Winfield, Kansas, born in Latham, Kansas, who passed away on April 18, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Wallace and Ima Wallace (Kennedy); her husband Alvin L. Johnson; her son Michael Johnson; and her siblings, Laura Bence Kampschroder, Luetta Starkey, Raymond Wallace, Leroy Wallace, Lewis Wallace and Lydia Purins.
She is survived by: her daughter Kathryn Tisdale (Joe) of Gardner; her grandchildren, Kerry, Bruce Egleston of Colorado Springs, CO, Kym, Rick Metcalf of Centennial, CO, Kevin, Candi Gooch of Salida, CO, Scott, Lenore Johnson of Phoenix, AZ and Keith Gooch of Olathe; her sister-in-law Nita Wallace of Bella Vista, AR; her sister Dollie Hutto; and her siblings-in-law, Bill Rosecrans of Winfield, JoAnn Wallace of Augusta and Gunther Purins of Georgia. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, eight great-great grandkids; a brother.
A memorial has been established in Delores' name for Hillcrest Bible Baptist Church. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
