He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Westenfeld and Hazel Westenfeld (Linscott); his wife Dorothy Lee Cole; his sons, Vernon and Todd Westenfeld; and his brother Milton "Mike" Westenfeld.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kimberly Gard of Winfield and Deana Westenfeld of Lyons; and his grandchildren, Kim Ates, Dallas Shannon (Mike), Deana Gard, Matthew Westenfeld (Hannah), Amanda Westenfeld and Sarrah Metzinger (Garrett).
A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Miles Funeral Service (4001 E 9th Ave, Winfield, KS 67156).
A memorial has been established in Dean's name for Angels Care Homehealth. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
