He is survived by: his parents, Harvey McFarland and Wendy McFarland (Mikulecky) of Winfield; his wife Kendra Mull of Winfield; his children, Layla McFarland of Winfield, Cayden McFarland of Winfield and Payton McFarland of Winfield; his brothers, Hugh Erwin of Blackwell, OK and Jeremiah Gutierrez of Fresno, CA; his grandparents, Laura and Edwin Mikulecky of Sacramento, CA; and his grandparents-in-law, Don and Mary Mull of Winfield.

A memorial has been established in Christopher's name for his children's education.
