She was predeceased by: her parents, Esley Quincy and Martha Ellen Powers (Love); her husband Arthur Dale Ankrom; and her brother John Powers. She is survived by: her children, Terri Miller (Charles) of Winfield and Robert T. Ankrom (Dayla) of Topeka; her sister Marcia Powell of Winfield; her grandchildren, Alissa Laughlin (Mike) of Lakewood, CO, Crystal O'Farrell (Chad) of Topeka and Robert Dale Ankrom (Olivia Dockery) of Wellington; her great grandchild Lindsay O'Farrell; and her pets, Scruffy, Hammy and Mozart.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Carmen's name for the Cowley County Humane Society. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
