He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Boyd O. Thomas and Mary Jane Thomas (Scott); his brother Richard Thomas (Peggy) of Arkansas City; his nephew Clint Byrne of Arkansas City; and his cousins, John Wade, Steve Wade of Coffeyville and Barbara Parsons of Independence.
A memorial has been established in Calvin's name for the Cowley County Humane Society. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
