With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bona Thompson of Winfield, Kansas, born in Beatrice, Nebraska, who passed away on June 18, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Thompson and Evangeline Thompson (Broodbrooks); and his son Lee Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Roylene Bartram; his children, Kathy, Steven Kerns of Wichita, Brenda Thompson Relf of Winfield, Sheila and Gene Reams of Winfield; his grandchildren, Angela Fry of Haysville, Amanda, Mike Palowski of Haysville, Richard Fagan of Short Pump, VA, Anthony Fagan of Short Pump, VA, John, Hannah Fagan of Derby, Calvin (CJ), Christy Reams of Winfield, Kyle, Alicia Reams of Derby, Cassy and Jesse Kent of Mulvane; and his great grandchildren, Alexander, Berlynn, Savannah, Addison, Isabella, Christopher, Brody, Cason, Ammure, Owen, Geneva and Ellie.
Memorial contributions for Bona may be made to the American Legion Post 10, contributions may be left in care of the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Winfield.
