She was predeceased by: her parents, George Balls and Clara Balls; her husband Ernest Hoch; her son Steve Hoch; and her brothers, George Jr., James and Frederick Balls.

She is survived by: her son Robert Hoch (Shirley) of Austin, TX; and her grandchildren, Garett Hoch, Dave Hoch (Kristin), Heather Hoch (Chris), Christopher Hoch (Christina) and Anthony Hoch. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
