With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Porter of Wilson, Kansas, who passed away on January 10, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Gary departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Gary may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Gary leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Buphard Porter and Mary Porter (Yates); and his nephew Ben Dennis. He is survived by: his children, Shannon Porter, Tammy and Christina Porter; his sisters, Connie Colony and Diana Holbert of Salina, KS; his nephew John (Kimberly); and his niece Tina Dennis of Salina, KS..
