He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marion Alspaw and Bertha Alspaw; his wife Maridel Burke; his daughters, Susan Warner (Kevin) and Christy Newport (Brian); his grandchildren, Weston Warner (Laura Friesen), Allison Schimelpfenig (Nolan), Whitney Kerr (Jordan), Jeremy Newport, Bethany Knauth (Shane) and Rebecca Newport; his sister Pam Precht (Jim); and his sister-in-law Pat Hansen (Tom). He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
