Though Shirley may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Shirley touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her father Robert Phillips; her husband David Griffin; her granddaughter Lindsey Griffin; and her brothers, Michael and Robert Phillips.
She is survived by: her children, Jamie Swanson (Felix), Kimberly Schmitz (Christopher), Renee Barber (Larry), Robyn Spielman (Eric Gomez), Rusty Griffin (Janet) and David Griffin (Ramona). She is also survived by twenty-three great-grandchildren.
