It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Doris M. Higdon of Williamsburg, Kansas, born in Rantoul, Kansas, who passed away on January 4, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Brownlee and Harriet Brownlee (Needham); and her siblings, Jack Brownlee, John Brownlee, June Hettler, JoAnne Swoger, Ginger Suther, Belle Collins and Glenna Brownlee.
She is survived by: her husband Don; her daughters, Virginia Cook of Williamsburg, Cindy Higdon of Osawatomie and Debbie Brown (Keith) of Howard, Kansas; her sister Joy Mitchell of Cincinnati, Ohio; and her brother-in-law Joe Suther of Williamsburg. She is also survived by five grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
