He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann; his children, Chris Parkin (Katie) of Platt City, Missouri and Sarah Nuessen (Tim) of Burlington, Kansas; his siblings, Kathy Doffing (Joe) of Wichita, Kansas and Pat Parkin (Pam) of Ottawa, Kansas; and his grandchildren, Coburn Parkin, Elizabeth Parkin, Katherine Parkin, John Parkin, Jackson Nuessen, Landon Nuessen and Logan Nuessen.
