It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Walter R. McGuire (Wichita, Kansas), who passed away on February 7, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth McGuire and Lima McGuire (Odom); and his brother Michael McGuire. He is survived by: his wife Kay; his children, Edward McGuire (Jill), Daniel McGuire (Heather) and Donna Fontenette (Arthur); his stepchildren, Michael Sutherland (Bobbie), Douglas Sutherland (Chrystal), Bradley Williams (Chrissy) and Christina Campbell; and his sister Linda Janey. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Broadway Mortuary (1147 S Broadway, Wichita, KS 67211).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Wounded Warriors.
