It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Walter Donald Waldren of Wichita, Kansas, who passed away on January 11, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Benjamin and Leona Regina Younger Waldren; and his sister Marilyn Louise Waldren Sloan. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Lea Lemmer; his children, Karolyn (Elias Moreno), Katrina (Eric Hoffman), Karla (Rick Dilling) and Walter James Waldren; and his grandchildren, Joella, Samara, Brandol, Tanisha, Elias, Travis, Ricky and Ashley. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Price and Sons Funeral Homes - Tribune (322 2nd St, Tribune, KS 67879). A vigil service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 7:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church - Tribune (815 Broadway Ave, Tribune, KS 67879). A prayer was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Greeley County Cemetery.
